Save lives with your donation
Every 90 minutes, a Kiwi dies from heart disease.
Many of those lives could be saved with early detection. Yet too many communities don’t have an electrocardiogram (ECG) machine that can detect dangerous heart conditions early, before it’s too late.
With your support, we can change that.
Your donation will help us place lifesaving mobile ECGs into medical centres across New Zealand.
Every $350 raised delivers a mobile ECG to a community in need, helping doctors detect heart disease early and save lives.
A small device making a big difference
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a quick, non-invasive test that measures electrical activity of the heart to help diagnose various heart conditions.
Mobile ECGs are handheld devices that connect to a smartphone and record an electrocardiogram from your fingertips - in just 30 seconds.
They can detect heart conditions like atrial fibrillation, bradycardia, and tachycardia.
Traditional ECG machines can be costly and require training to perform. Mobile ECGs allow individuals to test themselves. It’s simple, quick, and non-invasive.
Your donation places a mobile ECG into the hands of a GP in need. This transforms a community's access to cardiac care, helping detect heart conditions early when lives can still be saved.
"People are missing out on life-saving heart checks because of a lack of access to ECG machines. That means people miss out on early diagnosis and treatment. Early detection can save lives."
