Save lives this Christmas
Every 90 minutes, a Kiwi dies from heart disease.
Many of those lives could be saved with early detection. Yet too many communities don’t have an electrocardiogram (ECG) machine that can detect dangerous heart conditions early, before it’s too late.
With your support, we can change that.
Your donation will help us deliver lifesaving mobile ECGs to mobile clinics in need, helping to detect heart disease early and save lives.
A small device making a big difference
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a quick, non-invasive test that measures electrical activity of the heart to help diagnose various heart conditions.
Mobile ECGs are handheld devices that connect to a smartphone and record an electrocardiogram from your fingertips - in just 30 seconds. They can detect heart conditions like AFib (atrial fibrillation), bradycardia, and tachycardia.
Traditional ECG machines are costly and require training to perform. Mobile ECGs allow individuals to test themselves. It’s simple, quick, and non-invasive.
“Having access to this device has been incredibly valuable, especially when we're out in the waka (car) or visiting patients in the community. We have already identified a few patients with irregular rhythms. Not only has it supported clinical decision-making, but also helped reassure patients. As an RN Prescriber, I see this device becoming a valuable tool in my kete. A heartfelt thank you to Kia Manawanui Trust, your support is making a real difference in our mahi.”

Feedback like this shows us one simple truth: Mobile clinics need mobile tools.
Your donation places a mobile ECG with a mobile clinic in need, transforming a community's access to cardiac care and helping detect heart conditions early when lives can still be saved.
